This Tryout Registration is for new players who want to tryout for an FC Alliance North team for the fall 2025 season. This registration is only for players not currently registered to another USYS Club.
After all players have checked in, a tryout facilitator will call participants onto the field to provide instructions. Players will go through a series of warm-up and technical exercises and then be put into small-sided games. During the tryout sessions, players will move from field to field to be evaluated by as many coaches as possible.
All players will be evaluated based on their technical and tactical ability and physical abilities. All players will be evaluated based on their technical, tactical, attitude/effort, and focus/concentration. We will have multiple coaches on site evaluating players to provide input and feedback for roster placement.
No, but we strongly encourage players to attend the first day and as many days as possible to ensure proper placement. We schedule our tryouts to try to provide flexibility for players. We may also havesupplemental tryouts shortly after our regular tryouts if we still have spots available.
Offers will start to be made on the first night of tryouts and all players will be notified within 24 hours of the completion of tryouts of whether a roster spot will be offered to an FC Alliance North team.
You can certainly have some time to talk as family about whether to accept a spot or not. Recognize that we may offer more players than we have spots, in which case the first players to accept and pay their deposit will be the ones to keep their spots.
All of the teams will be trained by our highly experienced trainers. In most cases we have already named the team’s coach, but some coaches will be named post tryouts.
Yes, players can be added to the roster throughout the year if there is space available. We will post on our website and social media outlets after tryouts if we have space available and may conduct a supplemental tryout if necessary.
Construction of rosters will first consider preferred training locations, however, should we not be able to offer all players a spot in their preferred location, it could be that an offer is made for a roster that was not the primary option for preferred training.
