FC Alliance North 08 Boys Heading to the ECNL Regional League Virginia National Showcase
We’re excited to announce that our FC Alliance North 08 Boys have been invited to attend the prestigious ECNL RL Virginia National Showcase in Richmond, VA this weekend. This is a major milestone for our club and region.
What is the ECNL RL Virginia Showcase?
Before diving into tryout prep, here’s why so many families choose FC Alliance North:
- The ECNL Regional League (RL) is a national‑level youth soccer platform designed to bring top clubs together outside of their regular conference play, creating a true showcase environment for exposure and competition. ECNL (Elite Club National League)
This particular event—held at the River City Sportsplex in Midlothian/Richmond, Virginia—features U17‑U18/19 teams from across the country, all playing in front of college coaches and scouts.
Why This Matters for Us
Although FC Alliance North is not currently a member club in the ECNL Regional League, our 08 Boys have earned a special invitation to compete at this level. The opportunity highlights the caliber of our program and the hard work of our players and coaches.
By representing the Appalachian Highlands at this level, our club is showing that talent and dedication from our region can compete nationally. For the players, it’s a chance to:
- Build experiences that make a difference in their long‑term development
- Play in front of college recruiters and scouts
- Measure their skills against some of the best teams in the country
