Questions about Youth Soccer in Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol

U9-U12 players in both Sportsplex and Johnson City locations get 2 team training sessions plus an optional technical session each week.

U13-U19 players in Johnson City receive 2 team training sessions plus 1 technical and sports performance session weekly.

U9-U12 Bristol players practice once at Bristol Sportsplex and once at Whitetop Creek Park weekly. U9-U12 Johnson City players train twice weekly at Winged Deer Park.

U13-U19 Johnson City players also train at Winged Deer with an additional sports performance session at a location to be announced.

U9-U12 Bristol players train once weekly with experienced Sportsplex staff including Matt Yelton and Pam Wilson, plus once with their team coach.

U9-U12 Johnson City players train once with a lead coach and once with their team coach. U13-U19 Johnson City players train twice with their team coach plus once with a Sports Performance or Technical Coach.

U9-U12 and U13/U14 teams play 3 VESL weekends in the Tri-Cities, 3 in Knoxville, plus 1 local tournament, 1 travel tournament (typically within 2 hours), and 2 weekends of local games.

For U15-U19 teams, schedules vary but feature substantial playing opportunities in the Tri-Cities area.

For U9-U14 players, we provide year-round training included in your fees: weekly lead coach training in summer (June-July), 2-3 weekly sessions plus weekend matches during fall and spring seasons, and winter indoor/futsal league play with weekly training (with a holiday break).

Club soccer develops crucial technical and tactical skills for higher-level play.

Statistics show 77% of male and 88% of female high school players join club teams, and 70-75% of college recruits in major conferences come from elite clubs.

FC Alliance North provides the development pathway needed for future success.

Yes for younger players. U9-U12 boys and girls teams will be available in both cities (provided enough players register).

All U13 and older teams will be based in Johnson City.

U9-U12 teams play 9-10 weekends each season (fall and spring), with 6 VESL league weekends split between Tri-Cities and Knoxville, plus 2 tournament weekends (one local, one nearby).

Teams typically play 2 games in a single day. U13+ team schedules depend on state league, VESL, and tournament preferences.

The annual club and facility fee is $1500 for U9 to U14, which can be paid in installments or as a lump sum.

This covers year-round training for U9-U14 players, including specialized goalkeeper training and winter indoor league access.

Additional team expenses and uniform costs vary by team.

The fee for U15 to U18 is $1200.

With primary locations in Johnson City and Bristol, our program welcomes young soccer players from Johnson City, Bristol, Kingsport, Elizabethton, Jonesborough, Gray, and Blountville in Tennessee, as well as communities in Southwest Virginia including Abingdon, Lebanon, Gate City, and surrounding areas.

We're committed to developing soccer talent throughout the region with convenient training locations to minimize travel time for families across state lines.
